FY1 TraineesI would like to remind you all that the responsibility of the Friday presentation is that of the trainees. If your name is on for a particular day, we would expect you to do the presentation. These dates have been announced more than 2 months ago. You must swap for your session if you are due to be away on your presentation day (eg holidays, getting married, or on nights etc). If you have difficulty getting a colleague to swap with you, then contact Sam or myself (Mr Baguneid) and we will see if we can help. The greater the notice, the easier for all. There will be times where unforeseen circumstances occur on the day or day before. We will happily cancel that particular session in that situation. As you will all agree, these sessions are of good value (and in our opinion of high quality), as you learn from your peers and gives you opportunity to present to your peers. If any of you have difficulty with the sessions, please come and talk to any of us and we would be happy to help. Please keep an eye on this website as we will try and keep it up-to-date. If any trainee is keen to edit a webpage on this site, then please get in contact with Mr Baguneid. There is a forums section on the website that you may find useful. |
FY2 TraineesThe Recruitment process for NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowships (ACFs) in England will open on Friday 14 November 2008. The process will be run by postgraduate deaneries, using a national application form. The closing date for applications will be Friday 5 December 2008. Interviews will be scheduled for December and January
ACF posts in General Practice will be recruited later using the same timetable as for standard specialty recruitment.
